TRUMP and NEWSOM

13 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers.

This was the meeting I was waiting for.
Will California governor, Gavin Newsom, meet president Trump at the airport?
How will the president's reception be?
How will he be towards Newsom?
Well, you know what?
The video above brought tears to my eyes.
FIRST, because of what California went through.
SECOND, because of Trump's love for the American people, visiting Helene-ravaged Asheville, North Carolina, and in a few hours, he's in CA. He's like a father, visiting his unruly "child" -- Newsom.
THIRD, because I love seeing harmony. Whether the embracing, the handshaking, the words exchanged was for the cameras only, you could feel Trump's grace, leadership, and authority.
Two officials with large egos will clash, but if they have JESUS in their hearts, and the welfare of the American people in mind, miracles can happen.
You could also feel a certain "humbling" in Newsom.
He mentioned about "needing help" from the federal government.
Right, but first, why not take back his US$50-M intent of "Trump-proofing" CA?
That money could better be used for rehabilitating CA.
Fire-proof; not Trump-proof.
Also, wasn't California a "sanctuary city"?
What are sanctuary cities?
Here's how it's defined:
"A sanctuary city is a municipality that limits or denies its cooperation with the national government in enforcing immigration law."

Well, if Newsom will depend on federal aid, he needs to conform to Trump's administration.
Immigration law, or otherwise.
He shouldn't bite the hand that "feeds" him, and his state.
Trump said CA looks "bombed", like in World War II.
And you know how the president says things as they are.
Newsom can only agree.
Is this the same Newsom who wants to use CA taxpayers' money to "Trump-proof" California?
And yet, he needs the president's help in rehabilitation.
I couldn't believe Newsom was actually asking for help.
The president has already mobilized the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers to help, in both NC, and CA.
In the book I read decades ago, "Cadillac Desert", the USACE was involved in CA's water system, considering CA was really a dry place to begin with.
I haven't given up on Newsom.
A born again watchman never does.
That's why I can't call him what Trump called him.
But we called him "New-SANS":
"Governor Newsom has failed California. This proud Democrat would rather fight Trump on all fronts, than focus on water management. And then the fire happened."

I just look at the facts SPIRIT gives me.
And the "potential" for people, and projects, He leads me to.
I did say this about Newsom, in yesterdays' article:

And today, he looks open, and humble.
Maybe he's secretly gritting his teeth.
But he's governor until 2026.
He's got time to rehab himself, as Trump rehabs CA.
Will he listen to the president this time?
Will he finally acknowledge the sitting president?
It's not smart to fight this GOD-elected president.
He doesn't know it, but I personally know it.
Thus, the numerous articles that spring forth, which SPIRIT makes me write each day.
Trump was elected by 77 million Americans.
He's obviously doing something right.
The people ask, does president Trump "sleep"?
Soon after his inauguration, he started signing executive orders.
Then he goes to Davos, Switzerland for his WEF speech.
Today, his first visit is in NC.
Then CA followed.
After which, he flew to Las Vegas.
By that time, you could see the president could use a rest.
He's had an especially long day, meeting so many officials, overworked firefighters, and suffering residents of NC and CA.
He's also instituted so many reforms.
In 2016, Washington mocked Trump, as he became its 45th president. His family looked reluctant, even "pained" at having to attend functions.
Today, in 2025. as he became America's 47th president, his family finally smiles. The world couldn't have enough of him. Neither could he have enough of the world. He's got TONS of stuff to accomplish.
He's had four years of thinking, planning, and regrouping.
Now, it's all "execution".
If Newsom is to survive, and have some legacy, better to align with Trump, a REAL, ACTIVE, CARING president, than to remain with his old party, which is now in tatters.
As with speaker Mike Johnson, former Democrats RFK Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard, even former critic, JD Vance, who is now vice-president, Trump has important positions for those who want to share his vision -- of making America GREAT again.
Look at where all of those former critics are now.
They've all got important positions.
They got on the WINNING team.
An astute politician can always smell that.
We pray Newsom gives his energy to serve under this GOD-elected president's administration
Trump knows how to delegate.
He sees the "bright", "sincere", and "promising".
Whether they're Republican, or not, Trump may have a place for them.
All they have to do is board Trump's train.
Which is going at a really furious, gleeful speed.
If Newsom finally focuses on working with the president, it's to CA's advantage.
He doesn't have to be remembered as the "inept", "rebellious", and "slick-haired" governor.
He needs Trump.
Trump needs him.
That's what made me cry.
Seeing both together.
Embracing, shaking hands, and talking.
All for the sake of California.
Same as when Trump honors the hardworking firemen.
And with Trump's lovely wife, Melania, supporting her husband.
That's what I like to see.
That's what touches American people's hearts.
Newsom's still got room for growth.
But only under Trump's mentorship.
He does want to run for president, right?
Why not learn from the current president?
Why fight the best teacher he can have right now?
Surely, you've seen how Trump has wowed the world.
Another thing to consider, which can be very humbling.
Something with people considering running for "president".
If Newsom can't even handle CA, how can he handle the whole U.S?
The same thing was presented about Kamala, by a former, disgruntled Dem fundraiser.
If she can't handle a whopping US$1.5-B campaign budget, even ending up owing US$20-M, how can she become president of the United States?
All valid points.
All simple, logical common sense.
And now, after Newsom's term, she wants to replace him.
All because Newsom's eyeing the presidency, uh-oh.
Is there no end to their delusion?
I'm telling you, there's really something wrong with the Dems.

California needs to rehabilitate her government.
She needs to start loving.
Not in her usual "hippie" way.
She needs to love her people.
Her firefighters.
Her president.
And GOD, above all.
And all will be well.
I liked that part, too, when Trump tapped Newsom's shoulder, and said, "We'll talk."
Also when he promised to "permanently" fix CA's problems.
Newsom seemed touched, and grateful.
If he truly is, that will pave for peace.
And renewed prosperity.
All will win.
America needs CA.
CA needs America.
GOD-willing, they'll support each other.
Starting with Newsom.
He must give Trump due respect.
Remember his "Humility" boat?
The one he needs to start rowing now?
Go for it, Newsom!
All is not lost.
